The suburban house is surrounded by gardens, where the sun-shading system of Nhà Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu is designed to be simple yet effective. The structure consists of tensioned mesh stretched over sturdy steel frames. Arranged across the garden in multiple bays along the horizontal axis, the mesh canopy creates large shaded areas. The black mesh layer reduces direct sunlight, bringing a cooler and more comfortable atmosphere to the space below. The shading system plays an important role in regulating light and temperature for the outdoor areas, while its simple design maintains a sense of openness and a close connection to nature without affecting the overall architectural aesthetics.

The garden reveals glimpses of bright blue sky through the porous mesh above, while shadows from the orderly steel frames and the gentle curves of the tensioned mesh fall across the ground. Designed by Studio Anettai, the garden has a modern and structured language, yet it also evokes the vast fruit orchards typical of Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu. The image of protective nets covering fruit trees during harvest season, used to keep birds, squirrels, and insects away, became a reference for the design. The mesh is stretched across slender modular steel frames, allowing the installation to be adjusted or repositioned depending on the activities below or seasonal weather conditions. The knitted mono mesh provides approximately 70% sun shading, creating just enough shade for outdoor activities while still allowing ventilation, minimizing wind resistance, and reducing wind-driven rain.
