LÔ CÔ LÊN LỚP 2023, by LÔCÔ ART MARKET

This installation offered a visual experience that combined art and culture. Using PVC as the main material, curved plastic panels were suspended from the ceiling, forming continuous wave-like strips that highlighted flowing and rhythmic lines The movement of the panels recalled waves or flowing water, while also reflecting the meeting point between art and commercial activities within the event. As LÔCÔ ART MARKET brought together works by artists and craft makers, the installation became an important element in expressing cultural and artistic identity within a contemporary setting. The interaction between light and the translucent plastic created subtle contrasts, making the space lively and engaging for visitors.

The design focused on the material properties of PVC, not only for visual effect but also for its structural capacity. The thickness of the panels provided enough rigidity to form smooth curves and connect into a self-supporting system, reducing the need for additional framing. The detailing was kept minimal but flexible to work with the existing site conditions, limiting interventions to the space.
