A Solo Exhibition Pluviophile – Rain lover, by Rei Nguyen – founder of R Parfums

The image of Saigon’s rainstorms inspired LAM to develop and realize a visual installation centered on rain. Transparent raindrop forms in soft colors were suspended in space, allowing viewers to sense the lightness and purity of nature. Thin hanging lines created the impression of streams of falling rain, while the transparent droplets floating in space evoked raindrops touching the surface of water and forming gentle ripples.

The contrast between the dark surrounding space and the soft light from the suspended elements highlighted a sense of solitude and romance often associated with those who love the rain. Every detail, from the way the droplets were suspended to the soft lighting and the arrangement of the hanging lines, formed a small spatial ecosystem that visitors could step into and experience. By exploring and interacting with each element, participants not only perceived the beauty of rain but also experienced a quiet and reflective atmosphere.
