In the Cave 101 project, the curtain system by Lam Weav- ing Spaces is presented in a minimalist and modern style. The curtains are placed near large windows, with light- weight neutral-colored fabric, creating a breezy and open feeling. The curtains flow along the open space, providing a soft yet effective sense of privacy, blending well with the raw architectural aesthetics of the house.
The curtain system in the Cave 101 project not only enhances the aesthetic but also regulates light and ensures privacy for the living space. With its lightweight material and neutral tone, the curtains allow gentle light to filter through when open and provide enclosed privacy when necessary. This curtain system plays a crucial role in balancing natural light and maintaining personal space in the house.
“Sandwiched between two concrete blocks is a relatively free space, a hollow volume defined by beams and lightweight structural iron floors, which forms the entire concept of the house. The technical system is arranged accordingly, along with the integrated cabinetry hidden within the service core to maximize the area. As a result, the central space becomes spacious with natural light and greenery. The initial goal was to ‘soften’ the living space, with the garden combined with the characteristic flooring materials blurring the boundary between nature and the structure. In that context, the interior is treated with stylized lines and the warm, muted tones of wood to create accents within the overall rough and wild impression, thereby balancing the emotional feel of the entire living space.”
