Invisidoor Exhibition

Location : HO CHI MINH, VIET NAM

In the “Invisidoor Exhibition,” this installation, created by Lam Weaving Spaces and Areus Atelier, transforms the space into a dreamy and surreal environment. The images showcase a long, slender structure made from PVC plastic strands, hung in layers from above. The lighting in shades of blue, pink, and purple creates a shimmering effect, making the space appear ethereal and otherworldly.

The elongated and thinly cut PVC strips are arranged in a tiered manner, forming a hidden passage or invisible doorway that guides visitors deeper into the abstract space. It feels like stepping into a different dimension, with soft, diffused lighting and flowing, delicate textures. The combination of light, material, and subtle structure turns the space into something tranquil and inspiring, especially as visitors move through the glowing strands. The play of light and material creates an immersive, almost magical experience, as if walking through a portal.

“The gateway to the ‘infinity’ space of the Big Bang room, part of the exhibition space of the Invisidoor Exhibition, organized by Areus Atelier and associates. With the combination of light, the light-conducting material becomes mystical and infinite. Though the passage is short and narrow, it manages to evoke a sense of ‘uncertainty’ as one steps into it. Beyond this gateway lies the ‘infinity’ world of the Big Bang room, where there is an ‘explosion’ of light effects and contemporary projections.”
