A place where the fun begins after work, with a variety of fusion dishes, craft beers, and a wide selection of wines and cocktails The sunshade ceiling system at Zumwhere Nguyen Thi Dieu is a collaborative work between LAM Weaving Spaces and architects, creating an open, creative, and sophisticated space. The ceiling system is designed with horizontal wooden slats interwoven to form a uniform grid structure, combined with soft white fabric panels stretched across the entire ceiling surface. This design not only provides a high aesthetic appeal but also helps control the amount of natural light filtering through, creating a gentle and airy space while maintaining coolness. The thin fabric material allows light to pass through, reducing glare from the sun while preserving natural light, giving customers a sense of closeness and comfort. The structure enhances ventilation and expands the space while maintaining privacy and shielding from direct sunlight, making it both functional and visually pleasing.

“The fabric is measured and cut according to the dimensions of the existing frame. The fabric edges are hemmed finely to prevent distortion when stretched. One end is secured with iron rods, with the fabric threaded through the staggered frame system, stretched tight, and fastened. Although the process is simple, the hemming and final adjustments need to be done on-site to ensure the fabric is stretched accurately. The stretched fabric ceiling is a captivating highlight for the bar area, shaping the proportions and volume within the overall space. It reduces daytime light and interacts well with the evening lighting. The staggered arrangement of the fabric allows for good ventilation.”
