“A Suite in Thao Dien” used curtains as flexible partitions to divide the apartment’s spaces. They can be drawn closed to create privacy or fully opened to connect seamlessly with other areas. As the apartment also housed the homeowner’s high-end furniture collection, the adaptable open-and-close nature of the curtain system was particularly well-suited to a space with a display-oriented character. Similar to other projects developed in collaboration with Studio Anettai, the architects paid close attention to material selection, stitching details, and installation hardware, ensuring both technical precision and aesthetic refinement.
In this project, the curtain system was a key element in achieving soft, flexible spatial division. Designed with gently curving lines, the curtains introduced a sense of lightness and ease while enhancing privacy within living areas. The sheer fabric allowed natural light to filter through, creating a warm and delicate atmosphere. Neutral tones shared between the curtains and the walls created visual harmony with the overall interior design, resulting in a cohesive and sophisticated living environment.
