This installation space created a strong, distinctive atmosphere through the use of metal mesh. The suspended ceiling installations were formed from sheets of metal mesh bent into spiral shapes, combining structural strength with a sense of fluidity. The mesh elements extended in multiple directions, creating a dynamic spatial composition in which the rigidity of metal contrasted sharply with the softness of the forms.
With its durability and high formability, the metal mesh allowed the structures to maintain their complex shapes while remaining stable when suspended. Combined with red lighting, the metallic surfaces reflected light, creating sharp highlights and shadows, making the space more vivid and engaging. The forming approach in this installation expressed a dialogue between art and architecture, creating a space that felt both solid and visually refined. The metal mesh played a key role in conveying structural strength, while the red lighting introduced a mysterious and captivating atmosphere.
