An Absurdist Play “They order and roll on the sand, the sea waves and the tumbleweed” produced by CABHoian
Within this theatrical space, everything became a part of the play, including the audience. The setting carried an abstract quality, allowing the actors to interact with and rearrange the spatial composition in response to each narrative moment. Constructed primarily through darkness and nine light boxes, the space was activated by the performers’ physical movements, facial expressions, and their engagement with one another and with the installation itself. These interactions draw the audience into an altered dimension, one in which they, too, become participants in this absurd yet immersive theatrical experience.
