Rhythm of Blues evoked the feeling of a quiet wave, spacious, resonant, carrying rhythm, sound, imagery, tonal gradation, and gently touching the subconscious. There was a brief moment of poetic wandering when LAM received the brief from Ashui Awards 2025 to design the Dulux booth under the theme Color of the Year: Rhythm of blues. Perhaps it was precisely the emotional resonance of these particular shades of blue that led LAM to envision the project not as a conventional exhibition booth, but as an experiential spatial installation. The intention was to create a space capable of expressing layers, tonal variations, and subtle transitions, a space that could interact with and adapt to the atmosphere of Hanoi at the end of winter. The concept drew from the different shades of blue within the Dulux Colour Palette, organized into a spatial composition formed by multiple stretched-fabric panels with varying tones and geometries, responding to light and context.
