The outdoor plastic curtain screened the service areas at the rear of the house, protected against wind-driven rain, and enhanced the building’s overall aesthetics. Given the project’s distinctive approach to space, materials, and detailing, the architect also carefully considered the curtain. Its function, material, and construction details were thoroughly calculated to meet specific requirements. The plastic curtain was water-resistant, dust-resistant, easy to install and remove, and simple to clean. The tailoring was kept minimal, with no stitched hems, to prevent water or dust accumulation. The translucent material gently blurred the screened areas, creating a soft transition rather than a complete separation. The curtain’s lightness and delicacy offered a graceful contrast to the building’s prominent, rigid structural frame.
