At Nomad Coffee, the curtain system is designed using natural fabric, offering a soft and flowing appearance. The neutral color of the curtains complements the raw concrete surfaces of the walls and floor, blending industrial elements with nature. The curtains serve not only to block sunlight but also to create privacy for different seating areas within the café, while softening the overall industrial vibe of the materials.

Positioned along the large glass frames, the curtains allow flexible adjustment of natural light entering the space. This setup enhances the connection to the outdoors, making the space feel open and airy, yet maintaining a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The combination of curtains with the surrounding greenery adds to the overall aesthetic, balancing openness with warmth and tranquility.

“The large curtain at the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The combination of the raw material of concrete, the softness of fabric, ambient light, and greenery creates an interesting atmosphere for this atrium area. The curtain spans two floors, with dimensions of 6420 x 2830 mm, featuring free-flowing curtain waves. Due to its large size, additional accessory solutions were needed to handle the weight of the curtain and ensure smooth movement back and forth.”
