SEE+ Design Fair 2023 Exhibition, held at C.space – Design Complex

“Connection, movement, the greater the swirling motion – much like in a storm, the more energy is generated. Like Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night, one can almost feel the force of this movement.” This reflection by Chú Thống became a point of departure for the project. LAM translated the intangible form of wind into layered elements, creating a unified whole. Grounded in the central inspiration of “self structure,” LAM created a spatial experience by arranging thin polycarbonate sheets into layered formations. These layers were secured through a system of bending and interlocking joints, collectively forming a stable structural system. By minimizing additional materials and technical complexity, the installation process was carried out with notable efficiency. In collaboration with CARA – Lighting Solutions, a team specializing in lighting design, the project successfully realized a technically challenging lighting concept tailored to the unique properties of this material.
