The ceiling curtain system was designed to optimize sun shading while maintaining the openness of the space. Layers of fabric rippled gently like waves, forming a soft contrast with Zumwhere’s signature stone walls. The gradient shifting from light tones to earthy brown created a continuous visual flow that harmonized with the overall interior. With the supporting frame carefully concealed, the fabric layers appeared to float, delicately filtering sunlight into subtle shadow patterns.

The artwork on the wall evoked patterns resembling fingerprints, the cross-section rings of a tree trunk, swirling vortexes, or even a distant galaxy. This coincidence closely aligned with the architect’s concept for the bar area at Zumwhere. To realize this idea on the wall surface, LAM developed a mold system with precisely CNC-cut grooves to hold and shape the stainless steel mesh. The entire wall installation was modularized and fabricated in the workshop to ensure precision in every detail, then transported and assembled on site.
